Use this tool to preserve battery power, yet still keeping it alive to let it continue processing. Especially useful when playing MP3 or streaming the net on your PPC.

Best to assign it to a hard key (by using Start->Settings->Buttons) and you can toggle the display anytime you want with a simply press on the assigned key.

ScreenToggle should work on any Pocket PC with an ARM (including XScale) or SH3 CPU. It only takes about 5kb memory space.

Installation Guide:
Just copy the proper cab file to your PPC and install it with any file explorer.
A shortcut (ScreenToggle.lnk) will be created automatically under: /Windows/Start Menu/Programs.

Does exactly what it says, this has been bugging me as I wanted wifi to stay on but for the screen to go off. If the device went into suspend then it stopped wifi, which is no good as I had it set to sync over wifi with my work exchange server. Thanks !

Great program for when you are using your PDA as an mp3 player... blank the screen, save your batteries and rock on. Since PDAs have LCD screens there is never a problem with burn-in to begin with.

This application is great. Active Sync leaves the display on while the pda is in the cradle. This way, I can be connected to the PC without burning the welcome screen into my display. Thanks a lot. I would have gladly paid for such an app. It is good to know that there is still some freeware out there.
