Good freeware! On first installation, everthing's work. On subsequent installation, the flash memory states N/A only... bared with it as shortcut then!... To uninstall I just follow read.me file instruction. >start>settings>today>items>uncheck PowerCheck... and then >settings>system>memory>Remove programs.... that should do it. Overall, good and convenient utility.

The program is difficult to uninstall using the normal way because it is running once you turn on your Pocket PC. To uninstall, I used to connect my iPAQ to my PC. Then rename the file powercheck.dll (to any name) under my iPAQ Windows directory. After rebooting/resetting my iPAQ, the program should stop running. And it can be deleted as usual. This is a nice program and I am using it now. Just to share the way to uninstall if someone wish to do so.

This program is great... EXCEPT WHEN YOU WANT TO GET RID OF IT. It won't uninstall, even by using the instructions provided in the readme file. I can't find the "About" tab in the Settings folder of the Today screen that others have mentioned (are they using a different version of Pocket PC?). I've tried deleting the files directly using the Explore feature of ActiveSync, but it won't let me becasue the files are "in use," and there's no way to turn them off. Very irritated about this.

BACKUP YOUR DATA BEFORE INSTALLING THIS PROGRAM. It seems to work fairly well but there seems to be no way to uninstall it. So if you come across something similar you will not be able to even try it.

I looked for this program for a long time and try to install to my PPC2003 (HP2210). Since it working fine for a few week, but found a program in Auto Power-off. I tested w/ my PPC, the auto Power-off was not function while I enable this program in Today plug-in and the function worked fine if I turn it off. I am not sure if it's the PPC2003 problem. Anyway, many thanks for the author's sharing.
