With Pocket Device Power Manager you can switch off the screen of your device using only one touch.

Features:

• Turn off the device screen.
  Allows the device significantly save battery power when you use it as player or radio. The LCD display often turns out to the big battery sucker, especially if backlight is configured to be very bright. This function available from System Tray.
• A soft reset.
  Makes it easy to restart a locked up system without loss of data. A soft reset will close running programs and clear the contents of Main Memory (RAM). This function available from System Tray.
• Force your Pocket PC into stand-by mode.
  This icon allows you to rotate the screen orientation from portrait <-> landscape orientation.
• Rotate screen.
  This function allows you to rotate the screen orientation from portrait <-> landscape orientation without breaking your current work.
• Auto start on soft reset device.
  You can allow Pocket Power Manager to auto start immediately after soft reset. If application have already been configured the specified icons will be displayed in the System Tray.
• Ability to map a Hot key.
  Allows to map any navigation button to quick access to all application's functions without stylus.
• Display of the following information added:
  - Percentage of battery life remaining.
  - Percentage and amount of total/free program memory.
  - Percentage and amount of total/free space on your memory card.

Works very well and does it very reponsively too. Love it. While listening to music, I now shut down the screen and when done using the PPC I shut down the whole machine with it too. I recomend using it in combination with Magic Button. Now to make it perfect, the author could add to it two functions that are screen related: Screen Toggle (Portrait/Landscape) and Sreen Backlight access. I highly recomend this little application.
