GSFinder was first created by Y. Nagamidori as an open source application.
GSFinder+ is an advanced version of GSFinder made by M.Toda introducing some new features like ZIP and LHA archives management, Drag-and-Drop, and network options.

The followings are the main changed parts from original:
- Overlaped Window (only SigmarionIII).
- ZIP/LHA file Compress/Uncompres (Used UnZip.dll, UnLHA.dll. Encloses in package.)
- Drag and drop (Move/Copy(Ctrl+)/Shortcut (Alt+) /Context-menu (Shift+)).
- File operation by the folder tree.
- Context-menu express as an Alt+ tap and tap-and-hold.
- Original extension function (system path/user path/favorite).
- [Forward][Back] button (tool bar).
- Network folder display setup (registry change).
- Network connect/disconnect (*).
- Change of menu composition.
- Memory card automatic detection.
- Automatic refresh(only SigmarionIII/WM2003).
- File search.
- File Association.
- Processing improvement in the speed.
- VGA correspondence of WM2003SE.
- Used gsGetFile.dll (Encloses in package).

* Settings for "Network Connect",
Remote Path: [\\<machine name>\<share folder name>] (In OSX, <user name> is set up instead of <share folder name>)
Local Name: [<any name>].
Remote folders will be displayed under the [Network] tree.

- WARNING: LHA support has been temporary disabled in this build, due to some problems found with UNLHA.dll. This problem is also encountered with other applications using UNLHA.dll. It is not due to GSFinder+ itself. Until a solution is found, only Zip compression is allowed through UNZIP.dll.

This is generally a good file explorer, and the "send-to" menu is a great idea, though somewhat limited by the fact that about half of PPC applications will not load a file when invoked in this way. Unfortunately it is not VGA aware, on my screen the file icons are big and ugly (pixel doubled) and as a result the file list is too spaced out, wasting precious space. On balance I prefer Total Commander but I have kept GSfinder installed for occasions when I need to use the send-to menu to open a file in a different program.

It is really nice software I'm lovin' it and I'm using it for a long time. My concern is that it doesn't hide folder but rather single file and it doesn't send files via BT but rather IR. Please fix this two problem then GSfinder is GreatSoftware one can have in his PDA.

Except for one major problem, I would vote this the very best file manager I have ever seen or heard of at this 'price'. GSfinder works great except the search. I have tried everything, and cannot search using GSFinder. If anyone can help or tell me what to do... or maybe the developer could use the same good smarts of his to fix this problem as he did designing this great program.

This is the best file browser for the pocket PC that I've seen. It has a nice interface and the icons are like those on Windows XP. it also allows me to map network connections, which is very convenient for me because I access several network shares. Also, it allows you to extract ZIP files. I'm putting this program on my list of must haves.

Looks very impressing, but all of the command options can not be read under PPC 2003. There are only sqares.

This is really the best file explorer for PPC I´ve ever seen. It´s using all important win standards. The GUI is nice to look at and it´s very stable.

If I can give this program more than excellent I will, in one word this program is PERFECT. It has many many options which you can't find in the windows default file explorer, it is better than the windows default file explorer which simply gives you nothing but file browsing.
