This interface is a great alternative to the one that ships with Pocket PC.

It was a commercial product, but the authors decided to give up development: there will be no WM5-compatible version. So they released the WM2003 version as a freeware.

If you like the look of a Windows desktop but still have fast access to you programs, you may want to check this program out. It requires much space in RAM but it is not so slow as it used to be with previous versions. But sometimes it turns our small screens difficult to use : XP is for desktop computers. And you loose the benefits of Today plugins.

There are many options and you need time to set everything up: you can change the system fonts, icons are easy to set up and there is a battery and a memory meter icon.

This is great software. My only problem is that you can't run your apps in real windows, but I don't consider that a problem because the default OS doesn't offer anyting else. I gave it a 4 because it can act weird, putting the today screen above the backround, etc. The program has a lot of good points though. I've convinced some people I'm running XP. Definitely worth downloading.

Finally, a freeware app that does exactly what it says! I installed this app and was pretty impressed with the xp look and feel. Excellent program--thanks!
