Description:
One hand operation standard SIP (Soft Input Panel). It's a text input program which able to substitute the keyboard and accessible from any application after the installation. With this program you can input text to your PDA like write SMS on a regular cellphone. This method's advantage appear when you travel on a public transport vehicle and just one of your hands free, or travel on a bad road that shakes you and the character recognizer unuseable.
The software supports all of the letters of the English alphabet, punctation characters and numbers. But the allocation of the characters is freely reversible so the application practically support all languages.
The main parameters of the keyboard's look is adjustable in an external initialisation file. This paramteres are the number of boards, the number of rows and columns on a board, the board's height. The characters that a button can write is also adjustable. You can add a character by it's Unicode value so the program can support many special character.
The colors, fonts also adjustable.

I am sorry to say, but there is a major bug in Blimkeys. This bug disqualifies Blimkeys as a replacement for standard SIP and hardware keyboard, especially in programs that preprocess WM_KEYDOWN messages (for doing something special on certain key strokes).
Description of the bug:
Each keystroke generates 3 windows messages as it should:
WM_KEYDOWN, WM_CHAR and WM_KEYUP.
Like the standard SIP, like the hardware keyboard.
BUT with Blimkeys the WM_KEYDOWN and WM_KEYUP contain 0 as key code (the wParam) instead of the proper value.
The WM_KEYDOWN and WM_KEYUP should contain the same key code (wParam) as the WM_CHAR. Like for the standard SIP and hardware keyboard.

This program is AWESOME!! I cannot say enough good things about it. I can now enter text faster than using Transcriber (cuz I don't have to wait for it to recognize my writing and then correct it). Great app!

Fully programmable so you can make any keyboard you would like, large keys, small keys, qwerty, fitaly, abc etc. The keys and size are programmed with a very readable text file. I had a problem where the program only gave 8 keys across but the author sent me a new DLL which correctly displays 12 keys across. Excellent keyboard software.

WOW! I've gone through like 10 different SIP methods looking for one that could be used one-handed. I can't believe no one else thought of this! If they did, I've never seen it before, and it probably isn't free. It works great on my VGA screen. I haven't played with true VGA yet, but this thing is totally customizable through a simple text file, so it probably can be made to work in true 480 X 640 pretty well.
