Your location is obtained using Integrated or external (Bluetooth) GPS connected to your device.

This utility also enables any Windows Mobile platform to feed the broadcasted waypoints to track and locate the sender.

I use this utility to broadcast my location during Hang Gliding activities to a ground personal (Reli - the software is named after you...).

This Utility is provided for free (as long as it seems), however contains a time expiration mechanism so you'd come again to get a newer version from this site.

Features of this current version (partial list):

Prerequisites:
- This software is compatible with a Windows Mobile device.
- Your device should support .NET Compact framework (if it does not have it, you may get it here: 2.0 , 3.5).
- In order to broadcast your location over SMS you need to have an SMS plan.
- In order to send your location over a Data transport you either need a Phone data plan (GPRS/UMTS), WiFi, or a connection over Synch cable.

Installing:
- Copy the file "ReliRescue.cab" to your device and click it.
- After installing, the CAB file may be deleted, unless you want to share it with your friends...

v1.17.7.17 (15-07-2010):
- Rearranged/Changed Menu locations.

- If program is started by remote activation SMS ("r$") - it will exit after 5 minutes to save battery.

- New!!! Support processing of incoming messages from 3rd party trackers (used for Pets, Cars, Sportsmen, etc.). Message format should look like "Lat: Long: [...]". If you wish to support your tracker, please drop me an email. Upon receiving these messages ReliRescue will not be started, but the messages will be queued for when it is started (Buddies section was added on the map and in a list).
