The player requires registration after 3 days. It looks nice but I prefer to see the playlist on the main display instead of having to go back and forth (the winamp skin achieves this but is pig-ugly with tiny pixellated text (just like the real Winamp!). I also disliked the constantly scrolling title in over-large text that can't be turned off. Why no Ogg Vorbis support as standard? I've decided to go back to GSplayer.

I used to think PocketMusic was a great free music player and I've been using it for years without any problems. Recently I bought a new 4GB CF card and I spent many hours loading selections from my music library onto this card. I also figured it was a good time to upgrade to the latest version of PocketMusic ... big mistake. I popped my new card into my Axim, fired up my new free version of PocketMusic, and tapped the play button. Instead of playing music, it scrolled uncontrollably through my entire playlist and I was unable to stop it. It turns out that it was wiping out my CF card and leaving behind a load of useless corrupted junk! I ended up having to reformat my CF card and I lost all that time I spent copying the files over, without ever hearing a thing! Sure it's a free program, but this kind of random destruction won't encourage anyone to buy the "professional" version. Beware!

Best audio player for ppc yet without a doubt. Worth every cent. Been using it for over a year now. It boosts the sound of my PPC at least 40% more than any other audio program I've tried and it works with winamp 2.x skins, 10 band eq, gain control and easy playlist controls make it head and shoulders above anything else out there.

The current version of PocketMusic v4.03 is excellent. I have been using it for about 9 months and love it. I haven't experienced any problem with play back of music. The only complaint I have is the default skin has terrible controls, they are so tiny you have to spend a lot of time trying to press the buttons with your stylus. But then I am not your average user, I don't like all that crap in the custom WinAmp skins. All I want is to see the play list and reasonable sized buttons for play, pause, stop, skip, etc. I don't need to see the EQ flashing at me. I don't need to adjust the EQ minute by minute. I don'd need to see the name of the song scrolling and the countdown of the time in three places. I don't need to modify my play list on a constant baisis. But hey a lot of people like all those goofy skins. Other than that it is a great application.

I don't have time to fight with an installation. After several tries, there is no "Device Code" the developer demands. Pass on this one.

It contains anti-piracy code that goes wrong, demo told me I was a pirate then wiped my device including memory card. Illegal and buggy.

If only it was free... still, one of the better players I've tried. v3 adds a lot of great features like the "driving mode" skins which work in both landscape and standard format, as well as almost flawless support for winamp 2x skins and button mapping. There are a few odd quirks with the program, such as closing 3 seconds after the program opens (not sure why this happens, but reinstalling fixes it), and not automatically locking the buttons if you turn the display off (lock and display are separate key maps) but other than that, an all-around good player.

This is an excellent media player. It has all of the options I could possibly hope for. But... I don't know if is the e335 or what, but I get very poor file recognition. Some whole albums won't be reconized at all, some time a single song will lock up the PDA repeatedly, and other files play fine. All were encoded using the same software.

This player requires a feature package (pay 20 bucks) in order to play oggs, and it don't support shoutcast, very unstable (often hang). Get gsplayer instead, and 100% free.

sound quality is great. The problem is, it won't play a file all the way through without freezing up.

Up until version 1.5 the player worked fine. God knows what they tried with version 1.6. The player plays most of the file version 1.5 did, but tends to hang my PPC on some. And do not think it is a good idea to remove the flash card. The player, if opened, starts to skip to the next file and the next…, forcing a hard reset. I can recommend version 1.5, it is an easy to use player supporting most of winamps most popular functions and has additional benefited that windows media player dues not have.

Great music Player. Oddly enough, it doesnt read all MP3 files. I encode in a VBR at 90% quality so the files are usually about 7-9MB. I encoded my entire albumn of DMB Everyday. The player reads most files but doesnt read others. Other then that, the program works wonderfully once you actually figure out how to use all the features. Would have been nice to have a Help file. The 10 Band EQ works very well. Best is that it will let you turn off the screen to conserve power.
