Earning money is easiest as a trader, but it is also possible to become a bounty hunter and hunt down pirates, or to become a pirate and rob honest traders of their cargo.

It was great on the Palm and it's great here. Addictive, deceptively complex little trading sim. I love the new (to me at least) events system that can really help you hit it big, especially trading contraband. Thanks for creating this game, I've enjoyed playing it heavily now and then for years.

Full of substance, playability and adventure. This is a well-polished game. It is extremely interactive. Most of the elements interact with each other - sysytems facing disasters need certains things, - being able to attack traders but it harms your police record, and so on. It scales very well. At the beginning I would run from pirates and they were a problem. Later in the game, they started to become opportunities. Each area of gameplay has a few elements to it, but they are very interactive. Ie better ships give more slots for weapons, but they cost more. But that in turn will let you destroy more pirates & get away from cops while trading firarms. I give this game 5 tribbles out of 5.

WOW! What a game! Downloaded it and played it for over 5 hours! I am absolutely hooked on it. I love the way how you get quests and you find drifting ships and bottles and stuff like that. Would love to see a sequel!

Excellent game, but if you're good at trading simulations, it only has about 5 hours of gameplay to it. Reminds me of the old MAC classic "Omnitrends Universe" (back in 1991). Wish they could port that one, and Transport Tycoon or A-Train would be sweet as well :)

This game was a permanent resident in my palm125 and one of the regrets I had after changing to Pocket PC was that this game wasn't avaliable. But there are a few minor problems. The hardware buttons don't seem to work and the goods are placed too near each other in the "warp" chart, resulting in some disasters but I still recommand this game anytime.

I must say, this game is quite good. I don't know if anyone's ever played Merchant Empires, but it's kinda like that on a much smaller scale. It's mostly text based, and there are no moving graphics, but it's fairly well put together for the Pcoket PC platform. Nice work.
