After a few moves, this game trys to connect to a Web chess engine. This is despite that not being selected in options. I deleted settings files, reloaded program, same problem. It seems to be incompatible with either my TYTn or WM6, not sure which. Had to remove it.

Excellent! When I switched from P900 to P4350 I thought I was going to miss the free chess that came with the P900. But this one is even better.

I simply love this version. Simple set up with 6 levels, I started with 3rd level it beats the shit out of me every time!! Move history is very good, helps you try different option... but you will still loose..:)

I was hammered... very quickly... on Level 2... that'll teach me for being complacent! Nice and simple version of chess, not too many frills but it beats solitaire. Recommended.

Someone mentioned it was possible to save game "history". I doubt it but would love to be corrected. It would be great to be able to analyze a game afterwards.

Great game, had it ever since I got my PPC but, level 6 plays very slow like it takes the PC to move after 2 min I've been playing on it for hour and ten minutes to complete it but it takes too long and the battery runs out. Should have had several appearances and more levels up to 10 I suggest at least and changing the style and pieces, like chess master8000.

Very good chess engine, maybe a little difficult for absolute beginners. Delivers a quick response in lower difficulty levels and can save game histories. Highly recommended.

Excellent software, why buy anything else? This software is easily comparative to the software released by Hexacto, KasparovChess. I found it to work perfectly on both a Compaq iPAQ 3835 (PPC2002) and HP iPAQ 5555 (PPC2003). I have only one suggestion, a faster first load time, or at least a warning. I thought it had frozen.
