Setting the default input method to the Keyboard (factory default) and Character Recognizer is achieved by way of modifying the Pocket PC registry. When the device is reset the registry entry gets read and the respective input method is set. Transcriber and the Fitaly Keyboard from Textware Solutions cannot be set via this method. When you select the Transcriber option a small program, SIPTrans.exe, is copied from your devices \Windows folder to the \Windows\Startup folder. Input Tweaker then sets the input method immediately to the selected option. When the device is reset items in the \Windows\Startup folder get executed first. When \Windows\Startup\SIPTrans.exe executes it sets the environment to Transcriber.
Note:
