Everything is included: full screen mode, automatically brings you back to the the same position in the last file you read, customizable font settings, a search function and the possibility to add bookmarks. Even the buttons can be configured to what you want them to do.

- Loads plain text and XML files. There were rumours that Haali Reader can open Microsoft LIT files. This is not the case. LIT format is not supported and will never be supported.

This is an excellent reader for many reasons. Here is what I really like about it:
1. It loads quickly.
2. It reads plain text files (i.e. no proprietary format).
3. It can read files from zip format to save space.
4. It has customizable color schemes that you can save. I have one for night reading (so I don't disturb my wife) and one for day reading.
5. It has adjustable fonts and font sizes.
6. The autoscroll uses a screen "wipe" rather than scrolling the entire screen. This is easier on my eyes and I think probably more efficient from a power consumption standpoint.
7. It allows you to customize your hardware buttons to utilize the options in the program.

This is the Google of readers... simple but highly effective!
