The program runs a setup screen, but returns several unhelpful error messages. It's unclear exactly what settings should be used for devices. I was unable to record any signals, much less send any. I don't know why this product is receiving 4 and 5 star reviews for not working.

It's a good start, but it should never have been published at this state (and it has been in this state for several years now). DON'T TRY it, it's REALLY a waste of time. If you really need an IR-Remote on your mobile, buy one. (and spare a few hours of your lifetime muddling along and cursing...) There doesn't seem to be a decent freeware alternative - today.

Started to record a time or two then crashed and would not run again. It seems to be on the right track but needs more work.

Hey! A free remote controller.... all the other SHAREWARE or COMMERCIALWARE can't even record the signal. ARGH.. This one can at least record it but I can't get it to playback the same signal... anyway, what's Baud? KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, AUTHOR.. TRY TO MAKE IT PLAYBACK THE SAME SIGNAL. Mike, how come yours can work?

For a beta this program isn't too bad. It almost works on my e740. I can get it to record an ir signal, but for some reason I can't get it to spit it back out again. Oh, and I'd like to thank the author for making a free ir remote program. There seem to be tons of remote programs on the net but they all cost money!

I couldn't get it to work on my Qtek 9090. Too bad, I was really looking for a free IR remote application that could record and playback anything for any device. Keep up the good work!

You have to select "start recording" to define each button on the screen using your original remote... This also worked for me with other IR devices... nice job.

O.k. Thanks now I have it, now what should I do with it? It does not work with my TV. Do I need to do some king of configuration? Thanks...
