Smaato Cost version 2.1 installs two software packages on your device: Smaato Cost and the SOMA-Launcher.

SOMA-Launcher is the mobile ad program that delivers and syncs the sponsored messages within the Smaato Cost application.

SOMA needs to be synchronized once a week. This can be done OTA (over the air), via ActiveSync (on Windows Mobile) or using the SOMA HotSync-Conduit (on Palm OS). If you wish to use the HotSync-Conduit you need download and install the SOMA-Launcher EXE installer separately.

After loading the software it opened properly only the first time, but I couldn't finish automatic calling plan set up before the application crashed. Relaunching did not open the application completely and hung up my Treo. Soft reset didn't help. It kept trying to open. I had to remove it.
