Description:
WolfClock is a simple but cool looking alarm clock or desk clock application that allows you to configure the colors and background images, sounds, and a bunch of other options.

Some features include:
- Unlimited alarms.
- Music player that can play music while you fall asleep.
- Configurable brightness control (for supported devices only).
- Supports MP3, WAV, OGG, AIFF, MOD, S3M, XM, & IT file formats for sounds.
- Configure the fonts & font attributes to use whatever TrueType font you'd like!
- Set up a shuffle list for background images.
- Runs either full screen or in a more traditional window.
- Customizable alarm sounds -- can use all popular sound formats.
- Customizable text and graphics colors.
- Exclusive artwork included -- and special thanks to Ryan Bliss at Digital Blasphemy for allowing me to include some of his images.
- Contains a main alarm, nap alarm, and snooze alarm.
- Alarms are persistent -- they will sound if the app isn't running, or even if the Pocket PC is off.

Includes some basic features such as a shuffle list for images, snooze, and configurable alarm sound.

This application has been developed on an iPaq 2210/2215, and shouldn't suffer from any of the notification problems many WM2003 devices experience.

When you set an alarm, you can leave the device on if you want to see the clock, or, you can exit the application -- if an alarm is set, the device will wake up and sound the alarm at the desired time.

Update Description:
v3.0:
- Minor bug fixes.
- Added Quarterly chime.
- Added AutoClose options.

I didnt like it cuz i use my pda in landscape mode, so i remove it, but know ALL the time when im gonna use my pda i've a notification error, telling me that the wolfclock.exe couldnt be found, but when i check in the folder "WINDOWS" under STARTUP i dont find anything that makes the program run over and OVER!!! what can i do?

** [Jul 19, 2007] by ed Miller using HTC P3300
Alarm only works once then there is no more sound. Until that is fixed it may as well be a screensaver. Has potential though. Maybe before fixing the minor bugs they should fix that MAJOR bug...

Excellent piece of work but there is one flaw all users face the alarm works in the begining and the second time it doesn't work and on standby mode it doesn't sound alarm or pop up. If it dosent work to alarm there is no use of this software.

I would love to say excellent, as everything about it is great, except on the 2nd day it just stopped playing any sounds or music at alarm times. I can not get it to play any sounds not, not sure why.

*** [Feb 7, 2007] by George using HW6915
First time it worked fine. After using it for a while I noticed that it was working only a few times.

Excelent program.

First time it did not work (can play sound when test, but not when the time was set). Reinstall again and it's OK. Very good of first impression that it supports MP3 (hardly found among freewares) and can choose file from other folder than only \windows\*.wav. Hope it works well and thank you very much :-)

Program worked great on my Dell Axim x50v but doesn't come out of standy mode on my Orange (a.k.a Siemens SX66/XDA II) If this could be fixed, it would be excellent.

** [Sep 15, 2006] by Jeff using Dopod 577W
Could not install it on my smartphone which is CE5.

** [Sep 6, 2006] by dan using Cingular 8125
Same problems here on WM5. Ran okay the first time. On soft reset, it had an error loading. On manual load, the sounds quit working. And it won't come out of standby to sound the alarm, making it useless for me. Otherwise looks like it would be an awesome app.

This clock, while really cool to look at, runs very slow on my device more often than not. The first time I ran it it worked well, but extremely slow after that. It seems to consume a lot of system resources. The alarm does not work properly on my device. Perhaps it's because I'm using Windows Mobile 5.0, perhaps it's my device, but the fact is that it just doesn't work well even with the alarm wake up problem aside. Beautiful clock, just that it has a lot of problems with my device.

Quite a good alarm clock..does (almost) everything you desire... Only reason why I don't use it? If my smartphone is in standby, the application does not work! The smartphone stays in Standby. When its not in standby, it works perfect... this will empty you battery...

***** [Apr 21, 2006] by arcon511 using VeiwSonic V36
Excellent for freeware, could use hardware button support though, I have yet to encounter a bug.

***** [Mar 31, 2006] by Peter Banaschak using T-Mobile MDA compact 2
Good app that is really helpful. Usually runs as the frontmost app on my PPC. Highly recommended.

**** [Feb 3, 2006] by hm using MDA Compact2 Charmer WM5
Good program that allows you to encrypt your PPC's notes while still able to be sync with your PC (for others, you may need to do your own backup or use the sync file option).

*** [Nov 18, 2005] by Graham using HTC Wallaby (PPC2002)/HTC Universal (WM5)
Bit slow on the wallaby (O2 XDA), doesn't go well on VGA screen of Universal.

** [Jul 27, 2005] by Dmitry Yakimov using iPaq 5450
Poor. The program is terribly slow and have the dynamic of PPC turned on all the time. So it drains the battery of PPC.

***** [Jul 11, 2005] by Vinh Le using o2 xda mini pda/phone
THis is exactly what I wanted. I am still only just learnt how to use it.

**** [Feb 16, 2005] by Magirus using hp hx2750
It's an excellent program, mp3 alarm sound are perfect but run with some bugs in wm2003se, at least in hx2750. The alarm sound from PDA off stop after 10sec and the screen never turn on.

***** [Feb 11, 2005] by Vertigo using pda-2k
I love this clock, though it has the same problems on mine as listed in other reviews. Will buy if fixed. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to fix that or if there is a new version available.

**** [Nov 28, 2004] by Bob using Orange m2000 (imate pda2k)
Looks great but like the other review totally removes all sound until killed and alarm doesnt seem to turn PPC on, hope there is a fix as this is an excellent app and would be happy to pay / donate if it worked on my device.

**** [Nov 12, 2004] by Ken using i-mate PDA2k
Excellent... but every time my PPC switches the screen off (manually or by delay), ALL sounds are lost until I kill off Wolf Timer - a real shame, as otherwise it is excellent. Still looking to see if there is an option that will fix this as it is otherwise an excellent product.

***** [Oct 11, 2004] by ms94 using O2 XDA II
A visually attractive program which does exactly as it claims. If anything the look and feel is better than claimed. This one is now my permanent dock program.
