Using MortgageCALC for Windows Mobile ('MortgageCALC') you can quickly establish the affordability and cost of finance.

MortgageCALC has the usual 'standard' loan calculator functions, plus:
- Interest compounding period options of Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual.
- Repayment frequency option of Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly, Semi-Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual.
- Interest Only calculations.
- Amortisation calculations.
- Graphing of amortisation calculations.
- Loan comparisons.

How to Use:
MortgageCALC will 'solve' loan calculations based upon users input.

Example: to solve loan repayments:
Step 1. Input loan amount,
Step 2. Input term in years (and and/or months if applicable),
Step 3. Input interest rate and select compounding period. Common US/AUS/ENG/NZ etc. period is monthly, Canada is half yearly, others?
Step 4. Input periodic fees (if applicable), and fee charging period, and
Step 5. Select/Press "Pmt" button to calculate repayment.

This example is for payments, however MortgageCALC can solve Loan Amount, Term, Payment, Rate or Fee, based upon the other input values.

Once "solved" loan amortisation calculations can be completed, with graphing of calculations and creation of a amortisation table. Variations to a loan can then be made (Rate/Term/Pmt etc) and the calculations compared.

Installation:
MortgageCALC can be installed to either a Mobile Device's main memory or to it's storage card. Program is installed using the CAB install method.

MortgageCALC is launched from the program icon located the Mobile Device's 'Start Menu'.

The NumPad layout used by MortgageCALC can be amended for different Windows Mobile hardware and software keyboards layouts.

After solving some installation problems to which I found the solution on the company’s website (i.e installation of another utility called VBRegFix) I used the program to my very satisfaction. It is packed with all kind of graphical and charting goodies and very intuitive to use.

Find it a great simulator and customizable at that, with its programmable calculations and replaceable data displays esp. the lease module. Easily customized according to labels and terms I've gotten used to.
