Description:
Frequency Tuner is a program that can measure the frequency of a sound and convert it to a note.
These downloads are builds for ARM-based Windows Mobile 2003 devices (Pocket PC's and Windows Smart Phones).
The builds were tested on a WM5 device but might work on newer devices as well.
The single CAB-file should be downloaded/copied to your Windows Mobile device. Install it using the file manager or mobile web-browser.

Fixed since Frequncy Tuner 1.5 SR1:
- Icon: Background program icon made white for devices with black background.
- GUI: Status textbox font size adjusted.
- GUI: Use custom menu to replace Set button. CHVAL Dialog now has a systemmenu attached.
- Menu: Function SetMenuChecks did not work properly.
- Temperament: CENT A 5 cannot validate value: Removed menu item.
- Temperament: Volume keys select a predefined Temperament.
- Measurement: For period length no longer more than 1 sample is needed to indicate tuned. Default nr, of samples = 1.
- Keyboard: Set Value on smartphone does not take backkey in input field.
- Advanced settings: Default values advanced settings were not valid.
- Advanced: Max Triggerlevel to 64.
- Advanced: MIN_PERIODS 20 - Make this settable from advanced settings.
- Temperament: Removed Cent TOTAL from Temperament editor dialog.
- Advanced: Fix default value for max. tuning dev. to keep average.
- Advanced: Fix spelling Adv. settings.
- Advanced: Fixed advanced settings dialog text and warnings.
Fixed since Frequency Tuner 2.0 Final Release:
- New: Trigger level for FFT and Period Count stored separately.
- Trigger levels are settable only using the Period of Spectrum view.
- GUI: Removed triggerlevel control on Tune Track view because setting is now related to the view.
- Updated 'About Frequency tuner' screen.

Worked like a champ. Looked around for a while for a free tuner for my phone and surprising this one actually work on the touch pro II. Had to tune it in kind of a quite place but tuned it perfectly.

Despite what other reviewers might say (and no doubt they HAVE had problems), this program worked FIRST time on Windows Mobile 2003 running on my HP iPAQ 2210. It'll come in VERY handy. Thanks for a cool little prog.

Looks great.. too bad I can't get it to work.. its not accurate!.. I love the guitar view.. as I play guitar!, but with the xscale processor and pc2003, I can't seem to get it to work.... would love it If I could get an upgrade!

On my XDA II with PPC 2003 this works just great. No problems at all.
